How We Use Your Personal Information

  • Providing Products and Services. We use your personal information to provide you with the Services in order to perform our contract with you, including to process your payments, fulfill your orders, to send notifications to you related to you account, purchases, returns, exchanges or other transactions, to create, maintain and otherwise manage your account, to arrange for shipping, facilitate any returns and exchanges and to enable you to post reviews.

Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.  Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. We at BCP do not store your credit card information.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Like many websites, we use Cookies on our Site. For specific information about the Cookies that we use related to powering our store with Shopify, see  . We use Cookies to power and improve our Site and our Services (including to remember your actions and preferences), to run analytics and better understand user interaction with the Services (in our legitimate interests to administer, improve and optimize the Services). User Generated Content

The Services may enable you to post product reviews and other user-generated content. If you choose to submit user generated content to any public area of the Services, this content will be public and accessible by anyone.

We are not responsible for the privacy or security of any information that you make publicly available, or for the accuracy, use or misuse of any information that you disclose or receive from third parties.

Text Marketing and Notifications

By entering your phone number and opting into the "Best Choice Products" messaging program, you agree that we may send you text notifications. Message frequency varies. You acknowledge that consent is not a condition for any purchase.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Best Choice Products may send marketing text messages (including limited-time discounts, special promotions, new product launches and cart reminders), as well as transactional text messages (including order confirmation, order status and account notifications) to opted-in customers.

Data obtained through the Best Choice Products text messages will not be shared with any third-parties for their marketing reasons or purposes.

Cart information for cart reminder text messages is captured through cookies on the Best Choice Products website.

If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text messages and notifications reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link we provided you within any of our messages. After you send text STOP to the short code, we will send you a text message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. Message and data rates may apply.

Children’s Data

The Services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, you may contact us using the contact details set out below to request that it be deleted.

As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we collect personal information from children under the age of 13 online.

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

Security and Retention of Your Information

Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee “perfect security.” In addition, any information you send to us may not be secure while in transit. We recommend that you do not use unsecured channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.

How long we retain your personal information depends on different factors, such as whether we need the information to maintain your account, to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce other applicable contracts and policies.
